The Military Employment Transition Spouse (METSpouse) program connects Canadian military spouses with a network of military spouse friendly employers across the country. Founded as a pilot program in 2016, METSpouse launched nationally and is now available in all military communities to the spouses of Active, Reserve, and Retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Wounded Warriors Canada has announced it is accepting applications to the second annual Veterans Child Scholarship. “The Veterans Child Scholarship is awarded to children of Canadian Armed Forces veterans or serving members affected by Operational Stress Injuries such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.”
The PEI Military Family Resource Centre and Dynamic Fitness are offering a six-week wellness program starting May 11 that specifically addresses physical and emotional health concerns of ill or injured veterans.
