[Press Release] 8th Annual Wear Red Road Races for Military Families Takes Place April 16


Members of the public are invited to lace up, don red, and show support for Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. In partnership with the Charlottetown Running Room, ParaSport and Recreation PEI, and HMCS Queen Charlotte, the annual Wear Red Road Race takes place on April 16 and raises funds for the PEI Military Family Resource Centre (PEI MFRC).

The only thing life promises is that we will have challenges. Some lives and lifestyles deal with more challenges than others. For myself, the road has been bumpy, and during those times I sought and found the helpfulness of the good people around me. Their knowledge, wisdom, practical advice, and, at times, tenderness contributed to my management of life’s difficulties.

WR3 Race Director Needed


The eighth annual Wear Red Road Races (set for April 16) need a Race Director. The organizing committee includes former members with experience in previous years’ events, but someone is needed who can focus on the race organization itself.
