Last week, we welcomed our new Executive Director Leona Conrick to the PEI MFRC team. It’s been a busy week around here, for sure, but we wanted to take some time to sit and chat with Leona and get to know her a bit.
Margaret has brought an abundance of energy, enthusiasm, and warmth to our team, and she’s done so working from first Winnipeg and now Germany. She’s been such a dedicated team member, and her drive to connect military families across the country is nothing short of inspiring. We’re really going to miss her.
As you may have heard through the PEI military grapevine (yes, there is such a thing), Executive Director Donna Earl is retiring this month! We wanted to take the opportunity to chat with Donna before she leaves us (sob, sob) and heads back to her home in Meaford, ON, to learn a little more about the woman who’s been spearheading things here as the very first Executive Director of PEI MFRC.
Donna Earl, executive director of the PEI Military Family Resource Centre, is retiring the end of March. Leona Conrick will assume the position March 20.
