Remembrance week in November is a time to reflect on the sacrifices of service men and women. This year, Islanders will have a new way to show their support for military, veterans, RCMP, and their families, when a new variety show takes the stage two days before Remembrance Day. Salute! A celebration of those who serve and the families who support them will take place November 9 at 7pm at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall.
Recently, Margaret MacKenzie, our Virtual Program Coordinator, chatted with Matt Rainnie on CBC’s Island Morning about the virtual ceilidh we’ll be hosting in November. Our program is filling up, but we’d really love to include 1-2 more performers from PEI/Atlantic region. Please share with anyone you might think is interested.
