PEI MFRC is happy to announce the Veterans Transition Program is coming to the Island this November in the form of a ten-day retreat. The event is intended to help veterans transition to civilian life.
Remembrance week in November is a time to reflect on the sacrifices of service men and women. This year, Islanders will have a new way to show their support for military, veterans, RCMP, and their families, when a new variety show takes the stage two days before Remembrance Day. Salute! A celebration of those who serve and the families who support them will take place November 9 at 7pm at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall.
Recently, Margaret MacKenzie, our Virtual Program Coordinator, chatted with Matt Rainnie on CBC’s Island Morning about the virtual ceilidh we’ll be hosting in November.
