DESCRIPTION:Dr. John Whelan\, a former member of the CAF\, has worked with countless numbers of serving and retired CAF members and has seen the evolution of treatment of PTSD.  In his book\, Going Crazy in the Green Machine\, Dr. Whelan addresses the issue of PTSD from the perspective of veterans\, stakeholders\, and families. \nCopies of the book will be available for purchase ($20). Dr. Whelan will kick off the book signing with a short talk about the book and PTSD. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in furthering their understanding of PTSD. \nDr Whelan had been a VAC provider since 2001\, and has treated many veterans afflicted with PTSD.
